During this tour you will get familiar with Kaunas Castle tracing back Dukes times, will visit the Town Hall Square surrounded by the 16th century merchants’ houses, the examples of Gothic architecture - Thunder House, Vytautas church and a radiant Resurrection Church astonishing in size, as this church is the largest church of the monumental architecture in the Baltic countries. After visiting Kaunas, you are going to Rumšiškės - one of the largest (195 ha) ethnographic museum-villages in the open air in Europe which exhibits 183 buildings and more than 86,000 mobile exhibits. You will get acquainted with all Lithuanian regions of the 18th - 20th century: Dzukija, Highland, Suwalki, Samogitia and Lithuania Minor and their way of life, work, and their traditions (Ethnographic Museum in Rumšiškės is open from October – to April Wednesday to Sunday, and from May to September Monday to Sunday).
