The tour starts at Kaunas Castle which will remind the times of Great Dukes. After visiting the castle, you will walk towards City Hall, and stroll through the city‘s main square. Then you will go to sight the Gothic House of Thunder, which is striking for its architecture and you will stop to hear interesting legends; later you will attend Vytautas Church, the oldest church in the city of Kaunas. Further on you will march through the longest pedestrian street Liberty Avenue, which is one of the main centres of attraction in Kaunas. After a review of Kaunas city, the bus will take you to Pažaislis. Here you will meet a baroque masterpiece - Pažaislis monastery, located in the picturesque landscape of the Kaunas Lagoon. This ensemble is one of the best examples of the mature baroque architecture in Northern and Eastern Europe (tours in Pažaislis monastery are organized from Tuesday to Sunday).
