During the tour you will visit two capitals of Lithuania: Vilnius and Trakai. Modern elevator will lift you on Gediminas Hill where you will learn the history of Gediminas Castle and enjoy the view. You will drop in the Cathedral and visit its vaults, stroll around the Old Town which is included in the UNESCO heritage list, get an eyeful of the Gothic masterpiece St. Anne’s Church. You will pay a call on one of the oldest universities in Europe – Vilnius University – with its medieval inner courtyards, today filled with the spirit of student. After that you will travel to Trakai, the old Lithuanian capital, where you will visit the most beautiful castle in Lithuania settled on the lake island, will get familiar with the dukes of Lithuania, their lifestyles and strategies of ruling. You will be try kibinai which were cooked to dukes by soldiers during the Middle Ages and this cooking tradition of kibinai is alive today.
