Places to visit are: The Monastery of Dominicans Karaites and their temple - Kenesa, New Trakai, a restaurant of Karaites’ national dishes to try a speciality dish ”kibinai” (vol-au-vent like rolls with minced meat), Peninsula Castle, Castle of Island, Old Trakai - the beginning of Trakai History, a carved wooden side pole with a statuette of St John, St. Virgin Mary's Visit church, Trakai district towns.

Tours start at: 11 am daily (except Mondays from October 1 till June 1 ).
Location: Tour starts from the Cathedral (Katedros sq. 1) in front of the belfry at the information stand.
